What is Catapult One?

Catapult One is a state of the art football performance solution, combining elite level tracking including sprint distance, total distance, top speed, and more while also identifying overtraining that causes injury. Analyse your positioning with heat maps and get access to training exercises developed by the pros.

What comes in the starter kit?

The starter kit is the key to tracking your training! The starter kit includes the Catapult One Pod, a state of the art GPS tracker. The Catapult One vest, which holds your pod in optimial position for tracking your measurements accurately and ensuring you don't get injured during training. And the Catapult One app, your access to your trends and analysis.

What is the difference between Catapult One and Catapult One Team?

Catapult One is designed for individuals, with analysis, insights, and tips based on an individual's training. Catapult One Team is designed for coaches and teams, with a dedicated coach dashboard allowing coaches to see all of their players stats at once, provide player comparison, and reporting all in one location.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes, we understand life happens! If you need to pause your membership you can do so for one month, every six months. Get in touch with our support team at onesupport@catapultsports.com and they'll be happy to help!

What happens if I get injured?

First! We are sorry you are hurt. We want to give you time to heal, pause your membership for a month every six months. Get in touch with our support team at onesupport@catapultsports.com and they'll be happy to help!

Is there a minimum subscription length?

If you are on a monthly subscription you must stay one month, an annual subscription is billed for all 12 months upfront. We hope you love Catapult One, but if you have please contact us and we are happy to help.

What do I get from my membership?

Membership allows you to access your performance data and trends in the Catapult One app. It also includes a library of in-season and offseason training exercises, and training and recovery tips designed by elite coaches.

How long does the contract last?

Monthly plans can be canceled at any time. Annual plans are valid for 12 months post your purchase.

Is the plan a monthly or annual one?

We offer both a monthly and an annual plan. Both plans offer the same member benefits, but the annual plan can save you 20% in the first year over being billed monthly.

How do I download the Catapult One App?

Our free and easy to use app can be found in the App store on your iPhone, or Google Play if you're on Android. Just search 'Catapult One'.

Can I get a discount if I purchase 12 months in advance?

Yes! Catapult One membership is available in monthly and annual increments. The annual plan includes the starter kit with a vest, pod, and app, as well as 12 months of service. I want to use one pod for two players, do I need two memberships?

Yes, pods are tied to your subscription so you will need a pod per player. If you are purchasing for a team please see https://one.catapultsports.com/join-catapult-one-team.php

I don't want a membership, can I just buy it?

Unfortunately the tracking pods are only able to be activated with a subscription, you will need a subscription to track your stats, see insights, and receive feedback.

How much is the cost of the membership?

For the monthly membership, Catapult One is £13.99/ month for individuals plus £40.00 starter kit, or you can subscribe to the annual membership for £159.99 which includes the starter kit.

What are the different payment methods available?

We accept payment from most major debit and credit cards.

Can I gift a Catapult One membership?

Absolutely, we now offer a Gift Membership option. This is a non-recurring membership, which gives 12 months access to the Catapult One App from the date the Pod is first paired with the account. Just head to our Gift product page to purchase!

What mobile devices are compatible with Catapult One Pod/App?

We support iOS devices running at least iOS 10, as well as most common Android devices running at least version 5.0 (Lollipop). If you're having trouble finding or downloading the app, get in touch with our support team at onesupport@catapultsports.com!

Do I need to purchase the Catapult One kit in order to record data or can I just purchase the vest?

The Catapult One pod is what tracks your performance, so you won't be able to record any data unless you purchase the full kit.

What does Catapult One measure?

Catapult One measures your sprint distance, total distance covered, top speed, power plays, as well as load and intensity metrics. All of this plus a GPS positional heat map, you can expect to have every aspect of your game revealed. Not only do we put the numbers that matter most right at your fingertips, but we also compare them to the world’s best players and the Catapult One community.

How accurate are the results?

Catapult One detects up to 1200 movements per second and measuring to the nearest 100cm. Using technology developed by our parent company, Catapult, who work with over 2500 professional teams, this technology is designed to give you reliable and accurate data to inform your training.

How old do you have be to use Catapult One?

Based on current data protection legislation, if you’re under the age of 16 you will need your parents’ or guardian’s permission to download and use the Catapult One app. If you’re under the age of 13, most data protection laws don’t allow you to use our app regardless of parental consent. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please check our Privacy Policy or contact us directly.

Is the Catapult One pod waterproof?

The pod is IPX6 proof, which means it's water-resistant but not waterproof. Make sure you don't put it in the washing machine or submerge in water.

Can I get the app in another language other than English?

The Catapult One App is also supported in German, Spanish, French and Italian.

Can I use Catapult One for sports other than soccer?

While Soccer is our main sport, you can also use Catapult One for Rugby, Gaelic Football, Hurling, Rugby League, Field Hockey, Tennis, Lacrosse, American Football, Australian Rules Football and Cricket.

How does a gift membership work?

The gift membership is a single charge, which gives the lucky recipient of the gift 12 months access to the Catapult One App. This starts from the date the pod is paired to the account, so you can also buy ahead of time. Once the gift membership runs out, the Catapult One user will be able to pay for additional access to the App.
